Our brands include Bloomingdale’s, Harvey Nichols, and Armani, among many others.Job PurposeTo support the kitchen team in the food preparation process and ensure that kitchen operations are maintained according to the company’s operational, hygiene, and safety standards.ResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesFunctional ResponsibilitiesAssist in the food preparation process, completing allocated and routine tasks as instructed by the kitchen team.Ensure all kitchen operations are carried out in line with company policies and municipality health and safety guidelines.Arrange and maintain efficient storage of goods and ingredients in accordance with company standards.Work efficiently to control wastage of food and non-food items.Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation within the kitchen at all times.Demonstrate a complete understanding of kitchen equipment and machinery, including proper operation, cleaning, and maintenance.Carry out additional duties or tasks assigned by management as required.People ResponsibilitiesWork collaboratively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations.Support colleagues during busy service periods to maintain efficiency in food preparation.Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude while working within the team.QualificationsJob RequirementsEducation / CertificationCertification in Food & Beverage, Culinary Arts, or Catering would be an advantage.ExperienceMinimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.#J-18808-Ljbffr
