Job Description As an Analyst in this role, you will primarily focus on monitoring trade flow and ensuring trades are booked fully and accurately, managing exceptions throughout the Trade Life Cycle. Your responsibilities will include: - Monitoring trade flow through internal systems to ensure accuracy and completeness of booked trades. - Identifying exceptions that require manual booking or partial booking. - Assessing all amendment/rebooking requests and executing them accurately. - Investigating adhoc queries from stakeholders. - Performing daily controls for manual bookings and completeness of exceptions checks. Desirable skills sets for this role include a strong understanding of trade lifecycle and trade settlements, proficiency in data analytics and AI tools (such as Power Automate, Co Pilot), prior exposure to regulatory reporting and audits, being detail-oriented with a strong ownership of daily deliverables, ability to manage tight deadlines with accuracy, strong communication and coordination skills, eagerness to learn complex regulatory frameworks, and develop subject matter expertise capabilities. The purpose of this role is to support Private Bank and Wealth Management (PBWM) with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution. Your key accountabilities will involve supporting PBWM initiatives, collaborating with teams across the bank, identifying areas for improvement, developing procedures and controls, preparing reports and presentations, identifying industry trends, participating in projects to improve efficiency, and driving continuous improvement. As an Analyst in this role, you are expected to perform prescribed activities in a timely manner and to a high standard consistently driving continuous improvement. You will have in-depth technical knowledge and experience in your assigned area of expertise, leading and supervising a team if applicable. You will impact the work of related teams within your area, partner with other functions, take responsibility for end results of operational activities, escalate breaches of policies/procedures appropriately, advise on decision making, manage risk, strengthen controls, and deliver work in line with relevant rules and regulations. Additionally, you are expected to demonstrate the Barclays Values of Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Stewardship, as well as the Barclays Mindset to Empower, Challenge, and Drive.
