Job OverviewThe AVP and Head - Corporate Communications will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive corporate communications and media strategies for the region, monitoring and analyzing their effectiveness and ensuring alignment with the company's brand and strategic goalsDuties & ResponsibilitiesCommunication StrategiesDevelop and execute strategies to uphold and enhance the company's brand image and equityEnsure alignment of communication strategies with business objectives and requirementsImplement innovative approaches to maintain brand consistency across all communication channelsIdentify and segment target audiences, developing tailored communication plans to meet their needs and preferencesUtilize data-driven insights for the development of effective communication strategiesEnsure adherence to ISO 9001 standards and quality control in all communicationsBrand Positioning and Media ManagementOversee marketing campaigns and promotional activities, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and business goalsFacilitate effective internal communication channels and strategies to enhance employee engagement and alignment with company objectivesManage external communication strategies, handling media inquiries and maintaining strong media relationsDevelop and implement strategies to enhance client communication and satisfaction, supporting business development through effective client engagementResearch and implement best practices for brand building and communicationDraft policies and guidelines for media management and corporate communicationsBudget Control and Cost-effectivenessMaintain budgetary control over Corporate Communications Department activitiesEnsure cost-effectiveness in communication strategies and campaignsMonitor expenditures and allocate resources efficientlyTeam Management & Succession PlanningManage and develop staff, including performance management, training, and career developmentCreate and maintain a robust talent pipeline to ensure succession planning (1:2 ratio)SustainabilityOversee corporate governance within the assigned region, ensuring alignment with organisational principles, policies, and regulations.Promote judicious use of natural resources and adhere to the organisation's environment, health, and safety policies, objectives, and guidelinesDrive the organisation's sustainability initiatives, working towards achieving established targets.Anti Bribery Management Systems (ABMS)Follow the ABMS roles and responsibilities details as prescribed on the ABMS manualUnderstanding of ethical standards and the importance of integrity in business practices.Ability to identify and evaluate risks related to bribery in various business contexts.
