Aviation Fuel Farm Manager

Position OverviewThe Aviation Fuel Farm Manager is responsible for the overall management and safe operation of the fuel storage facility and hydrant system within the airport. This role includes supervising staff, ensuring compliance with JIG standards, GACA regulations, and airport requirements, coordinating with airport authorities and airlines, and maintaining uninterrupted fuel supply to aircraft operations.Key ResponsibilitiesOverall management and safe operation of the fuel storage facility and hydrant systemSupervising and leading fuel farm staff and operations teamsEnsuring compliance with JIG (Joint Inspection Group) standards and GACA regulationsMaintaining compliance with airport safety and operational requirementsCoordinating with airport authorities, airlines, and fuel suppliersMaintaining uninterrupted fuel supply to aircraft operationsManaging budgets, resources, and operational planningImplementing safety protocols and emergency response procedures in accordance with GACA requirementsOverseeing fuel inventory management and procurementConducting performance reviews and staff developmentLiaising with GACA and other regulatory bodies for audits and inspectionsEnsuring all operations meet GACA licensing and certification requirementsQualifications & RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, or related fieldMinimum 10 years of experience in aviation fuel operationsAt least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory roleThorough knowledge of JIG standards and GACA aviation fuel regulationsUnderstanding of GACA safety management systems and compliance requirementsStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and coordination abilitiesUnderstanding of HSE management systemsProficiency in operational planning and budgetingExperience working within GACA regulatory framework preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
