The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with professional AV systems and excellent troubleshooting capabilities in a hospitality environment.Responsibilities, Required Technical Knowledge & ExperienceInstall, configure, and maintain AV systems across guest areas, event spaces, meeting rooms, and back‑of‑house.Provide technical support for conferences, events, and live performances.Diagnose and resolve AV system faults efficiently.Conduct regular system inspections and preventive maintenance.Coordinate with external vendors for repairs and system upgrades.Maintain documentation of system configurations and service records.Ensure all AV systems meet operational and safety standards.Strong product knowledge and hands‑on experience with Biamp Tesira systems, Bose Amplifiers, Bluestream Switchers and Processors.AV signal routing, DSP configuration, and audio tuning.Experience with control systems integration.Knowledge of digital and analog audio systems.Understanding of networking basics related to AV systems.Ability to read and interpret AV schematics and wiring diagrams.Qualifications & CompetenciesDiploma or Degree in Audio Engineering, Electronics, IT, or related field.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in AV engineering (hospitality experience preferred).Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.Ability to work flexible hours based on event schedules.What’s In It for you?Tax‑free annual salary of QAR 72,000Company‑provided accommodation and transportation21 calendar days annual leave and 11 paid public holidaysSick leave benefits as per Qatar Labour LawPrivate Medical Insurance for selfEnd of Service benefitsComplimentary meals at Neddy’s, our team restaurant (breakfast, lunch & dinner)Exclusive hotel and dining rates for you, your family, and friendsOutstanding learning, development, and career progression opportunitiesReward and recognition programsThe opportunity to work in one of Doha’s most iconic luxury destinationsOur CultureAt The Ned Doha, we go beyond celebrating diversity—we continuously challenge ourselves to be better.
