AV/ELV Systems Engineers

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading technology solutions and services provider in Doha, Qatar. Our client is seeking an experienced AV/ELV Systems Engineer to manage and deliver end-to-end AV/ELV solutions supporting venue operations and major events. The role focuses on solution design, implementation, integration, and ongoing technical support to ensure reliable, high-quality performance of all venue technology systems. Responsibilities AV/ELV Solution Planning & Design Engage with stakeholders and clients to gather AV/ELV solution requirements. Prepare technical scopes, system designs, and detailed specifications. Conduct technical evaluations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments. Ensure seamless integration of AV/ELV components and systems across venues. Provide expert guidance on AV/ELV technologies and industry best practices. Project Management & Delivery Manage AV/ELV projects from initiation through commissioning and handover. Oversee installation, testing, and performance validation of systems. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to meet project timelines and budgets. Maintain detailed documentation and submit regular progress reports. Operational & Event Support Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Develop system check procedures, quality control measures, and risk mitigation plans. Support hosted events, ensuring all AV/ELV systems are fully operational. Lead response efforts during technical incidents to minimize operational impact. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum 8+ years of experience in AV/ELV system design and implementation. Experience in sports venues, large entertainment complexes, or major events preferred. Strong knowledge of AV/ELV technologies, integration standards, and best practices. Proven project management experience handling multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Certifications such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or equivalent are highly desirable.
