Audit & Assurance Auditor

The purpose of this role is to provide a quality audit service to verify compliance with the Integrated Management System and recommend continuous improvement of the operations and maintenance of Serco Dubai Metro.Review, follow‑up and close out corrective actions; provide coaching, training and expert advice on raising/carrying out corrective actions.Identify root cause and adequacy of SMART actions to prevent re‑occurrence.Participate in the development and implementation of a risk‑based programme of audits against all elements of the management system; ensure timely implementation and delivery.Participate in the development of a risk‑based programme of supplier audits, ensuring timely implementation and delivery.Undertake audits to determine the effectiveness and compliance with the elements of the Integrated Management System; produce meaningful, comprehensive and robust audit reports in a timely fashion.Conduct stakeholder review meetings for audits (both internal and external) and agree pragmatic corrective actions for any areas of deficiency; monitor progress of implementation and agreed actions.Ensure findings and corrective actions from audits are uploaded in Q‑Pulse and Assure in a timely fashion.Coordinate all aspects of external audits and inspections on behalf of Serco Dubai Metro business units.Coordinate responses to the Client regarding corrective actions arising from their audit findings in liaison with relevant process owners.Monitor, review, follow‑up and close out corrective actions; provide coaching, training and expert advice on the raising/carrying out of corrective actions, identification of root causes, and adequacy of SMART actions to prevent re‑occurrence; produce reports on corrective actions and audit summaries.Professional, requiring a more challenging analysis, planning and implementation associated with own area of expertise, typically providing a service to a large organisation across a number of different functions. Job requiring full professional understanding of a subject or a business unit. At this level usually backed up by a professional qualification plus relevant business experience; will provide advice and guidance to Line Managers on area of expertise.The ideal candidate should be a degree holder or high diploma of post‑secondary education in a related engineering discipline and hold a recognised auditing qualification. Knowledge of railway organisational structures and standards, workflows, procedures and terminology is essential.Ability to write technical and audit reports, routine business correspondence and prepare method statements as required.Good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.Proficient in spoken and written English.Strong organisational skills, detail‑oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.Hold a valid UAE driving licence with good driving skill and experience.Minimum of 3 years of experience (preferably 5 years) as a certified quality auditor in a rail industry.Strong audit‑related expertise, including understanding of compliance requirements, monitoring guidelines and standards such as ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001.Experience in the development of effective audit programmes using standard techniques.About The CompanySerco improves the quality and efficiency of essential services that matter to millions of people around the world.
