Audio Visual Technician

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading tech company who is looking to recruit a Audio Visual Technician to join their team in Ras-Al Khaimah UAE. Position: Audio Visual TechnicianLocation: Ras-Al Khaimah UAEWork model: on-site 100% Employment type: employment contractBenefits: base salary. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the installation configuration and maintenance of audio-visual and IT systems across studio environments Install AV and IT equipment according to technical plans and diagrams provided by engineering teams Assemble and install professional video cameras lenses monitors and power supplies ensuring proper signal connection via SDI to server room equipment Run and organize low-voltage cabling including video audio and network connections across studio facilities Install and configure server racks cameras NVR/DVR systems and lighting fixtures based on production and lighting schemes Test and terminate SDI XLR and Ethernet cables to ensure full operational integrity Perform routine equipment checks diagnose faults and repair or escalate technical issues to minimize downtime Support general maintenance and configuration of broadcast systems and ensure optimal system performance.REQUIREMENTS: Fluent in English with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication Hands-on experience assembling testing troubleshooting and repairing computer hardware Familiarity with basic electronic principles including AC/DC circuitry and the use of diagnostic tools such as multimeters Ability to solder and install electronic components on printed circuit boards according to specifications Basic knowledge of operating systems installation and configuration (Windows and Linux) Understanding of television control room or broadcast environments Eagerness to learn and develop new technical skills related to AV and broadcast systems Basic understanding of sound equipment such as microphones and audio mixers Basic video camera operation knowledge; familiarity with photography concepts such as aperture shutter speed and ISO is an advantage.BENEFITS: Competitive salary package Opportunity to work with advanced broadcast and studio technology Career development and continuous technical training Collaborative international work environmentAnd many more!
