Job Description Role Overview: As the Assistant Controller, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Office. Your primary duties will include financial analysis, financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, audit and control, as well as asset and liability reconciliation. You will also be overseeing working capital and cash control. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others - Advocate sound financial and business decision making - Demonstrate honesty and integrity while leading by example - Oversee internal, external, and regulatory audit processes - Communicate regularly with employees to create awareness of business objectives and recognize performance - Celebrate team successes by publicly acknowledging contributions - Establish and maintain open, cooperative relationships with employees - Provide excellent leadership by differentiating top performers, fostering teamwork, and encouraging work/life balance - Participate in the employee performance appraisal process and provide feedback as needed - Ensure disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed according to SOPs and LSOPs - Administer property policies fairly and consistently - Utilize an "open door" policy and solicit employee feedback Qualifications Required: - 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or a related major - No work experience required Additional Company Details: Not provided in the job description.
