Job Description

Job Description As a Manufacturing Applications Developer, your role involves analyzing, designing, and developing various Manufacturing applications solutions while supporting existing web/windows applications in the enterprise. Your key responsibilities include: - Understanding and conducting technical analysis activities such as requirements gathering, definition, testing, and implementation of Manufacturing projects. - Performing gap analysis of user requirements against software functionality and defining Engineering solution architectures, as well as developing detailed design specifications. - Collaborating with business and functional groups (US Team) to review and analyze business requirements and functional specifications. - Working with other architects and developers to design and architecturally approach use cases in the project. - Providing estimates for various initiatives by collaborating with system architects, functional groups, and other developers. - Offering plant support in case of emergencies and developing custom DOT NET solutions for rollout. - Supporting existing factory applications and utilizing .NET expertise to build high-quality, maintainable development solutions following industry-wide best practices and organizational development standards. - Providing development support for .NET solutions in testing and migration to Production. - Troubleshooting issues, making enhancements, or bug fixes to existing .NET and other web applications in Production. - Researching and staying abreast of current technology trends. Qualifications required for this role: - 2-4 years of overall work experience with hands-on experience across all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment of .NET projects. - Minimum 2 years of extensive experience with .NET technologies, including ASP.NET Core, MVC, and WCF, as well as web service standards such as RESTful APIs and SOAP. - Minimum 2 years of strong, hands-on experience in database design and optimization with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and/or 2019. - Possession of strong analytical, business, and problem-solving skills. - Knowledge of Engineering and Manufacturing applications will be advantageous.
