OverviewOur client, a multinational company is looking for an Associate Product Manager4 Small Domestic Appliances. Responsible in managing and following the guidelines for the (Small Domestic Appliances) product portfolio to ensure market competitiveness, compliance, and sustained growth. The position holder oversees smaller accounts and drives initial collaborations in the market, executes dynamic marketing strategies and leverages market opportunities. In addition, the position holder contributes to market expansion and contributes to the organizations long term vision and objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesA. Strategic and Managerial ResponsibilitiesStrategic and PlanningImplement the Products functional strategy in line with business vision, mission, and corporate objectivesEnsure that the overall business strategy is translated into annual Products operational business plans and the performance is monitored to ensure business plans are in line with the overall strategyPolicy, Procedures, Process and SystemsImplement Products functional policy, systems, processes, procedures, and controls covering all Products functional areas in line with policies to ensure fulfilment of all relevant procedural/legislative requirements while delivering quality and cost-effective service in a consistent mannerComplianceManage Products compliance frameworks and programs within the Products department, ensuring alignment with local and international laws, regulations, and industry standardsEstablish reporting mechanisms to proactively monitor and report on risk and compliance issues within the Products department and collaborate with senior leadership to escalate critical matters for timely resolution, while also offering recommendations for mitigationB. Core ResponsibilitiesProduct ManagementManage the Small Home Appliances product portfolio within designated geographical territoriesManage product lifecycleprocurement from NPI through end-of-lifeOversee product launch, pricing, positioning and market strategiesMonitor product performance and market feedbackServe as the critical liaison between suppliers, factories, and marketConduct in-depth analysis of market trends and pricing dynamics to uphold competitiveness and bolster profitabilityEnsure that all products and marketing efforts comply with relevant industry regulations and standardsCollaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to provide them with the necessary product knowledge, tools, and materials for effective selling and marketing campaignsProduct ProcurementManage the sourcing and selection of reliable suppliers for Small Domestic Appliances productNegotiate pricing, payment terms and other legal requirementsEnsure procurement aligns with quality standards and compliancePartner ManagementWork closely with partners to understand their needs and assist them in gaining a better share in the marketDevelop and maintain strong relationships with partners to ensure effective collaboration and communicationProvide guidance and support to partners on product positioning, pricing, and marketing strategiesBudget ManagementMonitor and report on budget performance to ensure alignment with business objectivesIdentify opportunities for cost savings and resource optimizationActively support and prepare budget plans with HQ and factoriesMarket ExpansionExplore opportunities for expanding product presence into new markets and develop entry strategiesPresent product strategies, performance updates, and future plans to the senior managerEnsure compliance to the companys long-term strategic vision, ensuring alignment with product and marketing strategiesIdentify potential risks and market challenges that may impact product performance and devise contingency plans to mitigate themCustomer Relationship ManagementDevelop and conduct product-focused training programs for the sales force to enhance their product expertiseCollaborate closely with the sales team to provide them with the necessary product knowledge, tools, and materials for effective sellingC.
