Associate Planner - Beauty - Planning & Merchandising - Retail - DubaiJob DescriptionAbout the roleWe are looking for an analytical, detail‑oriented Associate Planner to join our Central Planning team within the Beauty division. In this role, you will support the development and execution of merchandise strategies that drive sales, optimize inventory, and maximize profitability. You will help create seasonal and annual plans, forecast demand, analyze performance, and ensure products are allocated effectively across locations.If you have strong planning expertise, a passion for retail, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, this is an exciting opportunity to grow your career.ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll DoDeliver category sales, gross margin, and sell‑through targets.Participate in the development of sales budgets and forecasts using trend and historical data.Monitor business performance and recommend actions to maximize sales and profitability.Identify sales, margin, and assortment opportunities at department level.Inventory & Allocation ManagementBuild and maintain merchandise plans using market insights and customer trends.Manage replenishment, inventory levels, and forward buys in line with Open‑to‑Buy (OTB) targets.Identify slow- and fast‑moving products and act quickly to mitigate risk or maximize opportunity.Plan and execute markdown strategies and stock movement between stores.Cross Functional CollaborationWork closely with Buyers, Store Managers, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and Marketing (VM).Communicate trading issues, performance updates, and forecasts to senior management.Partner with suppliers to monitor delivery performance and ensure product quality.Process & Performance ImprovementDrive improvement of merchandising processes and decision‑making at division and store levels.Ensure alignment to company mission, values, and policies.QualificationsWhat You BringEducation & ExperienceUniversity degree in any discipline.3–5 years of experience in merchandise planning within large‑scale retail environments.Strong analytical and numerical skills.Ability to communicate effectively with Management and cross‑functional partners.Customer focus, collaboration, integrity, and learning agility.Strengths in problem‑solving, decision‑making, written communication, and managing work.Proficiency in English and preferable Arabic#J-18808-Ljbffr
