Job TitleAssociate - Expansion | MAF Retail | Head Office KSARole SummaryAssociate - Expansion is responsible for driving new business development projects for Majid Al Futtaim Retail in order to achieve sustainable growth. The role holder is also responsible for preparing the overall plans and managing the local implementation of the MAF Retail strategy ensuring timely and proper implementation of assigned projects.Role ProfileSupport the executive team in the preparation of the market strategy on new developments.Evaluate and propose action plan to increase profitability and productivity.Evaluate local market and regional trends for the defined country.Perform competitor analysis and identify new business opportunities.Develop operational plans to ensure achievement of the retail expansion plan and targets set out.Work cross functionally with sales and marketing or related department, to turn “consumer needs” to actionable business development proposals.Provide inputs on expansion, leasing, procurement and asset management strategies, continuously looking into cost efficiency and guaranteeing set quality standards.Interact with management on all steps leading to potential projects.RequirementsBachelor Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.3+ years in business development.Retail industry experience.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Outstanding needs analysis, positioning, business justification and closing skills.Strong negotiation skills.What We OfferAt Majid Al Futtaim, we’re on a mission to create great moments, to spread happiness, to build experiences that stay in our memories for a lifetime.
