Associate Director Project Management

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of Projects Management specializing in Civil Infrastructure to join our dynamic team in Dubai United Arab this pivotal role you will lead and oversee complex civil infrastructure projects ensuring their successful execution from inception to completion.Develop and implement strategic project management plans for large-scale civil infrastructure initiativesLead and mentor a team of project managers and engineers fostering a culture of excellence and innovationOversee multiple projects simultaneously ensuring they are delivered on time within budget and to the highest quality standardsManage project risks develop mitigation strategies and make decisive actions to resolve issuesCollaborate with senior leadership to align project goals with organizational objectivesEstablish and maintain strong relationships with clients stakeholders and regulatory bodiesAnalyze project performance metrics and implement continuous improvement strategiesEnsure compliance with local and international standards as well as UAE construction regulationsDrive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies in project management and civil engineeringContribute to business development efforts by participating in proposal preparations and client presentationsQualifications : Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Masters degree in Project Management or MBA preferredMinimum of 18 years of experience in civil infrastructure projects with at least 5 years in a senior project management roleProven track record of successfully delivering large-scale infrastructure projects on time and within budgetStrong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. PMP PRINCE2) and civil engineering principlesProficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3DExcellent risk management budgeting and cost control skillsOutstanding leadership abilities with experience in managing and mentoring diverse teamsSuperior communication and stakeholder management skillsIn-depth understanding of construction management processes and best practicesFamiliarity with UAE construction standards and regulationsPMP certification or equivalent project management qualificationAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesVisionary approach to project planning and executionAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced multicultural environmentAdditional Information : About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
