With convenient access to major highways, nearby amenities, and flexible land use options, investors are presented with unique opportunities for development and growth.</p><p>Through the centralization of Dubai Holding’s land bank, Dubai Holding Land Estates focuses on large-scale master plans, ensuring alignment with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, whilst also supporting the business’s commitment to sustainable urban development and strategic land portfolio management.</p><p>We are looking for a results-driven<b>Associate Director - Marine Engineering</b>with strong leadership capabilities to oversee large-scale marine works, ensure successful project execution, and drive excellence in quality, safety, and sustainability while managing multiple stakeholders and complex project requirements.</p><h3>Key Accountabilities</h3><ul><li>Oversee the construction of dredging, reclamation, canals, breakwaters, quay walls, rock revetments, jetties, marinas, and beaches to ensure projects are completed according to specifications and industry standards.</li><li>Supervise marine projects to guarantee their completion within budget, on time, and with high quality, optimizing resource utilization while maintaining project integrity.</li><li>Coordinate with appointed consultants on project designs to ensure seamless execution and achieve design accuracy and adherence to project timelines.</li><li>Identify challenges in project progress, initiate corrective actions, and ensure project milestones are met to maintain project momentum and timely problem resolution.</li><li>Compile and present reports to provide updates and insights to senior management, enabling informed decision-making through clear and accurate communication.</li><li>Review and approve payment claims in accordance with project progress and contracts to ensure financial accountability and timely cash flow management.</li><li>Assess tenders for marine works and provide recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring optimal vendor selection and contract execution.</li><li>Liaise with consultants and project teams during design and construction stages to ensure cohesive integration and guarantee smooth coordination in project execution.</li><li>Contribute to the strategic planning and development of marine projects to align them with long-term goals and sustainability plans.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications, Experiences, Skills</h3><ul><li>Minimum of 10+ year of similar experience in Marine related works</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in marine engineering / civil engineering / mechanical engineering or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred</li><li>Knowledge of complete marine works, application of marine engineering, concepts, and methods</li><li>Expertise and knowledge in Project Management principles and practices.</li><li>Familiarity with regulatory compliance and environmental standards in marine projects.</li><li>Project management Skills to manage Marine projects including the leadership qualities.</li><li>Good communication skills, technical and contractual correspondence skills.</li><li>Prioritizing work and delegating responsibility</li><li>Commercial and contractual knowledge and skills to handle variations and claims.</li></ul><h3>About the Benefits</h3><p>At Dubai Holding, we're committed to nurturing the success and well-being of our colleagues.
