Join us.Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and visionary Associate Director- Electrical to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this key leadership role, you will oversee and guide our electrical engineering projects, ensuring excellence in design, execution, and client satisfaction.Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorshipOversee the planning, design, and implementation of large‑scale electrical projectsDevelop and maintain client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for high‑profile projectsEnsure compliance with local electrical codes, regulations, and industry standardsDrive innovation and efficiency in electrical engineering processes and methodologiesCollaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other engineering disciplinesManage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project deliveryConduct technical reviews and quality assurance checks on electrical designs and documentationStay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in electrical engineeringContribute to business development efforts and strategic planning for the electrical engineering departmentQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's degree preferredProfessional Engineering (PE) license requiredProject Management Professional (PMP) certification preferredMinimum 18+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with 5+ years in a managerial or leadership roleProven track record in managing large‑scale electrical projectsAdvanced knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practicesExpertise in power systems design, electrical distribution systems, and building electrical systemsStrong proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP)Excellent project management skills, including budget and resource allocationOutstanding leadership abilities with a track record of mentoring and developing engineering teamsStrong analytical and problem‑solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAdditional InformationAbout AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
