This role involves overseeing both pre-contract and post-contract project delivery maintaining client relationships and contributing to business development efforts.The Associate Director provides expert cost advice throughout the project lifecycle and supports the growth of the cost management service line within the fit-out sector.Key ResponsibilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects and cost management team.Develop and implement the business strategy for the fit out cost management service line aligning with overall company objectives and market trends.Lead business development initiatives including identifying new opportunities overseeing proposal development and participating in high-level client presentations and negotiations. Look to secure standalone cost management opportunitiesManage a team of cost managers providing guidance support and mentorship to ensure high-quality service delivery.Build and maintain strong client relationships serving as a key point of contact for assigned accounts.Deliver comprehensive cost management services for fit out projects including cost planning estimating value engineering procurement advice and contract administration.Provide expert cost advice throughout the project lifecycle from initial feasibility studies to project completion.Identify and mitigate cost-related risks to ensure projects remain within budget and on schedule.Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction.Stay current with industry trends and best practices in cost management for fit out projects.Ensure adherence to company policies procedures and industry regulations.Contribute to the growth and development of the cost management service line within the fit out sector.Represent the company at industry events conferences and forums enhancing the firms reputation as a leader in fit out cost management.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or a related field.Professional membership in a relevant organization (e.g. RICS AACE or equivalent).10 years of experience in cost management with a focus on fit out projects.Proven track record of successfully delivering medium to large-scale fit out projects.Experience in team management and mentoring junior staff.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build client relationships.Proficiency in cost management software and MS Office suite.Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Knowledge of relevant industry standards contracts and regulations.Key CompetenciesTeam leadership and developmentBusiness DevelopmentClient relationship managementTechnical expertise in fit out cost managementFinancial acumenNegotiation skillsAdaptability and flexibilityTime management and organizationCollaborative approachLocationOn-site Dubai AREIf this job description resonates with you we encourage you to apply even if you dont meet all of the requirements.
