This means investing in talent technologies and tools that empower you to own your career.Join MUFG where being inspired is expected and making a meaningful impact is rewarded.Overview of the Department/SectionCorporate Advisory focuses on the origination and execution of:Acquisition FinanceFinancing & Debt AdvisoryCredit Rating AdvisoryKey ResponsibilitiesAs an Associate in Corporate Advisory your primary responsibilities will include to:Carry out analysis of industries and companies (business market strategy financials investment merits risks)Prepare and take the lead on the financial model (financial statement analysis financial projections)Support the preparation of pitch books for client meetings and internal documents for mandate execution including supporting their delivery in coordination with other deal team members.Build relationships throughout MUFG to establish effective collaboration with a range of internal departments of the bank including Capital Markets Coverage Credit and DerivativesMeet excellent standards with respect to operational management communication governance and compliance with all internal and external regulations guidelines standards and proceduresWork ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years experience in Acquisition Finance Leveraged Finance or M&A advisorySkillsFunctional / Technical Competencies:Essential:Accounting and corporate finance knowledgeCredit analysis and cashflow modellingExperience creating clear structured and compelling pitch materialsGood written and spoken EnglishExcellent Microsoft Office skillsPreferred:Competency in another European languageEducation / Qualifications:Essential:A Bachelors degreePreferred:Relevant Professional qualification (e.g. CFA)Personal Requirement:Results driven with a strong sense of accountabilityExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong problem solving skillsThe ability to work under time pressure and on multiple projects across varied industriesA team player with the ability to work with multiple individuals and counterpartiesA proactive approachExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA creative and innovative approach to workWe are open to considering flexible working requests in line with organisational requirements.MUFG is committed to embracing diversity and building an inclusive culture where all employees are valued respected and their opinions count.
