In order to support, stimulate, grow and increase Space42’s annual revenues, the function involves:</p><ul><li>Developing customer relationships, managing vendors, managing the bidding processes from receipt of RFI/RFP/RFQ to preparation of commercial proposals until contract award and handover to Engineering to deliver the program.</li><li>Preparation of go‑to‑market strategies, account management plans, product portfolio development by performing customer and market analysis to determine the technologies and requirements for the future.</li><li>Preparation of brochures, development of communications and events plan, attendance at forums, technical shows and exhibitions to promote Space42 brand and forge business relationships.</li><li>Supporting management, peers and internal customers for all matters satellite communications and business unit.</li></ul><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Define bid strategies, manage customer RFP/RFQ/RFI bid and tendering processes, working closely with other teams and business units to prepare timely commercial offers.</li><li>Effectively and efficiently manage contract negotiations with customers for best commercial terms, mitigating risk exposure, compliance, etc.</li><li>Manage ongoing revenue contracts to ensure customer satisfaction in order to maximise revenue potential from the opportunity.</li><li>Be the point of contact for management, peers, internal and external customers.</li><li>General support to stimulate growth, increase Space42’s revenues and margins.</li><li>Plan, support and participate in relevant industry forums, events, and exhibitions.</li></ul><h3>Technical Competency</h3><h3>Sales&Business Development</h3><ul><li>Manage both customer and vendor bidding process.</li><li>Meet revenue target projections and acquire new customers.</li><li>Build good relationship with the customer.</li><li>Prepare and review the proposal that will meet customer requirement.</li><li>Negotiate contract terms from a commercial, technical, delivery and legal risk perspective.</li></ul><h3>Satellite Telecommunications Technical Understanding</h3><ul><li>Understand technical and commercial knowledge of satcom (naval, airborne and land systems).</li><li>Understand the technical requirements of RF and baseband related to satellite communications to be able to answer general inquiries from customers.</li><li>Keep updated on new technologies that might be required by the customers.</li></ul><h3>Business Communications</h3><ul><li>Hold and lead both commercial and technical discussion/meeting.</li><li>Write official emails and proposals that will be sent to the customers.</li><li>Support commercial department to report frequently to top management about the ongoing sales pipeline.</li></ul><h3>Representation</h3><ul><li>Be the company representative with customers.</li><li>Represent Space42 in different exhibitions and conferences.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics or Communication Engineering or Business Studies/Business Administration.</li><li>English – Berlitz Level 8, IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 550 or equivalent.</li><li>3+ years experience in a combination of sales, pre‑sales, product development positions. 2+ years experience in Satellite industry with technical and commercial knowledge of naval, airborne and land military applications is an advantage.</li></ul><h3>Communication Skills</h3><ul><li>Comfortable representing team, department or company in presentations or meetings (internal and external).</li><li>Able to communicate complex messages clearly (written and oral) all the way up and all the way down.</li></ul><h3>Customer Focus</h3><ul><li>Proactively develops effective relationships with internal&external customers.</li><li>Manages all but the most sensitive escalations.</li></ul><h3>Financial Awareness</h3><ul><li>Unders
