Associate - Building Technology Systems

<div><h3>Job Description</h3><p>WSP Middle East are seeking an Associate – Building Technology Systems (BTS) to join our growing BTS team within the Property&Buildings business unit. The ideal candidate will support the delivery of smart building solutions, ICT design, ELV systems, and Creative AV technology for a wide range of high‑profile projects across the region.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li><b>ICT&Building Technology Systems</b><ul><li>Lead and contribute to the design of ICT/ELV systems, including structured cabling, data networks, Wi‑Fi, security systems (CCTV, ACS), BMS integration, IPTV, and telecommunications.</li><li>Develop comprehensive design deliverables such as drawings, schematics, technical specifications, and BOQs.</li><li>Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary design teams to ensure full coordination and seamless system integration.</li></ul></li><li><b>Creative AV Systems (Audio‑Visual)</b><ul><li>Design and review Creative AV systems, covering Digital signage, Video walls, Control rooms, Meeting room AV.</li><li>Provide technical leadership on AV layouts, acoustics, equipment selection, signal flow, and overall system performance.</li><li>Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and client‑experience teams to deliver innovative, user‑centric AV solutions.</li></ul></li><li><b>Smart Building&Technology Integration</b><ul><li>Support the development of smart building design frameworks within the ICT/BTS scope.</li><li>Integrate IoT, automation, and digital building platforms into coordinated design packages.</li><li>Ensure compliance with global standards and interoperability across all technology systems.</li></ul></li><li><b>Project Delivery&Coordination</b><ul><li>Assist with project planning, reporting, and preparation of client presentations.</li><li>Coordinate effectively with contractors, suppliers, and authorities throughout design and construction phases.</li><li>Conduct site inspections, review technical submittals, and support testing and commissioning activities.</li></ul></li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.</li><li>10‑15+ years of experience in Building Technology / ICT / ELV / AV systems design.</li><li>Proven experience delivering Creative AV systems on building or mixed‑use projects.</li><li>Strong understanding of international standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI, IEC, ISO, AVIXA).</li><li>Excellent communication, presentation, and coordination skills.</li><li>Consultancy experience in the Middle East is an advantage.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
