About the job Assistant Senior Accounts ManagerOur client, a leading FMCG company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced Assistant Senior Accounts Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to accounts management, including financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting. The role also involves assisting in managing accounts receivable and payable, auditing, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additionally, the Assistant Senior Accounts Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide leadership in driving business growth and achieving sales targets.Responsibilities:Ensuring a transparent financial analysis and budgeting system is in place and managed effectivelyAdhering to internal and external audit requirementsAssessing the banking operations from the company sideInteraction with all departments on a daily basis as a custodian of the businessAdopt a hands-on approach with flexibility to carry out daily tasks, ensuring deadlines are metProcessing Normal & Management PayrollProficient in handling the complete process of Payables, General Ledger, Assets, AR.Finalization of Trial balanceFinalization of Month end closing activityExcellent negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to communicate complex issues clearly and conciselyAssisting in monthly & yearly closingImplementing necessary changes in the accounting processes and procedures to align with the recent changes in IFRS and accounting standards.Managing the annual external audit process to ensure timely completion and accuracy of our financial statements.Preparing ad hoc analysis and reporting, and providing support to the Finance departments with transactions, inquiries, audits, and reporting.An expert in ZAKAT, VAT, and WHT, responsible for preparing the annual ZAKAT declaration report.Conducting the evaluation and providing development plans for the upcoming year.Effectively managing the accounts team & facilitating the smooth flow of businessProcessing online transfer and forward to Management for approvalAuditing employee appraisals, reimbursements, salary adjustmentsAuditing & validating contracts for rent, employees, contractorsAuditing Insurance claims for staffManaging the team for smooth closure of month endVerifying all accounting transactionsPayroll costing, Provision for Indemnity. Handles the entire HRMS ModulePerform any duty assigned by the line supervisorAttend any cross training as mandated by the line supervisorAlternate for colleagues when requested by the manager and ensure that own team mates are trained to replace you prior to annual leave.Comply with Health, Safety and Environment regulations and working practices of the company and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia when carrying out dutiesQualifications:Masters/Bachelors Degree in Accounting or a related field.Over 8 years of hands-on experience in accounting and finance within the same industry.Proficient in MS Office, Oracle, and other relevant software.Certifications in accounting (e.g., CSAM) are a plus.Advanced negotiation skills, fostering long-term customer relationships.Focused on identifying and acting on opportunities to drive profitability and improve business performance.Skilled in creating organized workflows, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on time.Strong team player, building trust and respect while guiding teams toward shared success.Inspirational leader, motivating teams and aligning individual goals with the company objectives, while remaining resilient under pressure.#J-18808-Ljbffr
