The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction and supervision projectsof a sewerage network and pumping station project, ensuring that it is completed according to the approved design and specifications, and in compliance with local regulations and ADSSC requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Resident Engineer in managing the construction project, including coordinating with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholdersReview and approve construction drawings, materials, and method statementsConduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are metMonitor project progress and report on any issues or delaysCoordinate with the client and obtain necessary approvals from ADSSCEnsure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and specificationsPrepare and review project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and payment certificatesProvide technical support and guidance to the construction teamAssist in resolving any technical issues or conflicts that may arise during constructionParticipate in project meetings and provide updates on project status and issuesEnsure that all project activities are carried out in accordance with Stantec's quality management systemMentor and train junior engineers and technicians as needed.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 10 years of experience in construction supervision of sewerage networks and pumping stationsPrevious experience working in the United Arab Emirates is preferredFamiliarity with ADSSC regulations and approval processesStrong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and materialsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational and time-management skillsProficiency in MS Office and project management software.We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development within our global organization.
