Assistant Project Manager (Contract Admin)

Overview AECOM Contract Riyadh Region Negotiable Contract Administration experience within infrastructure projects. This role supports the project's commercial and contractual framework and requires strong coordination with the project team, the Engineer, and the Finance function. Key Responsibilities Contract Administration: Administer contractual obligations in accordance with agreed terms and Task Orders. Draft and issue formal contractual correspondence to the Engineer with appropriate authority and documentation. Maintain contract registers for all correspondence, variations, and approvals. Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and enforce response timelines. Time & Material Governance: Control manpower deployment against approved headcount and budget parameters. Monitor expenditure burn rate and forecast budget exhaustion. Issue early warning notices when approaching budget thresholds. Ensure deployments stay within approved limits unless given written instruction. Variation Order Management: Identify and document scope changes requiring Variation Order submission. Prepare and submit detailed variation proposals with cost breakdowns and justification. Track status from submission to final approval. Ensure additional services are not executed without formal approval. Commercial & Financial Control: Support monthly invoicing with verified timesheets and supporting documentation. Verify attendance records and rate sheets for accuracy. Track certified values against approved amounts to ensure billing integrity. Work with Finance for accurate billing and reporting. Engineer / PMC Interface: Issue notices regarding budget exhaustion, scope changes, or commercial risks. Maintain professional, well-documented correspondence protecting the company's contractual position. Reporting: Maintain deployment dashboards and cost tracking. Provide monthly status updates with forecasts and exposure analysis. Highlight risks related to ceilings, approvals, and pending items. Core Competency: Demonstrate advanced expertise in contract administration, specifically in T&M deployment control, Variation Order management, and formal contractual correspondence.
