Assistant Project Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai and Abu Dhabi United Arab this role you will be responsible for supporting the project management team during the crucial pre-contract phase of construction projects ensuring smooth project initiation and planning.ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing project scopes, timelines and budgets for potential projectsConduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for pre-contract phaseCollaborate with estimators and quantity surveyors to prepare accurate cost estimatesSupport the preparation and review of tender documents and contract agreementsCoordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders during the bidding processAssist in evaluating and selecting potential contractors and subcontractorsPrepare project schedules and resource allocation plansContribute to the development of project management plans and strategiesEnsure compliance with UAE construction laws and regulations throughout the pre-contract phaseMaintain organized documentation and records for all pre-contract activitiesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture3-5 years of experience in project management preferably in pre-contract phaseStrong knowledge of contract management and FIDIC contractsProficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent skills in budgeting, cost estimation and schedulingFamiliarity with risk assessment and mitigation strategiesKnowledge of UAE construction laws and regulationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesEffective communication and interpersonal skillsExperience in building projects is requiredAdditional InformationAbout AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
