Assistant Professor in Civil LawThe position involves teaching and developing courses in Civil Law, supporting student progress, contributing to research output, and participating in accreditation activities. Candidates must hold a PhD in Civil Law, be at the rank of Assistant Professor, have at least two years of teaching experience, maintain a Scopus-indexed research profile, and demonstrate strong bilingual communication, academic writing, and educational technology skills.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver courses to students in specified discipline areas of study, considering and aiming to achieve the Three (3) fundamental standards of the University: Teaching, Research and Services.Evaluate and monitor individual student progress and provide feedback to sustain student success. Research, organize and manage instructional resources, courses outlines, and community networks. Actively seek out methods, procedures and resources to best achieve course objectives.Support and participate in accreditation initiatives.Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.Job RequirementsAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing in Arabic and English.The candidate must possess an active and verifiable research profile on Scopus.Ability to develop and deliver presentations.Ability to work effectively with a multiple diverse community.Ability to create, compose and edit written materials.Program planning and implementation skills.Knowledge of computerized student information systems.Only candidates with a rank of Assistant Professor are eligible for the position.Skills RequiredPhD Degree in law, directly related to the field of Civil Law.Have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience.Advanced use of technology in the education process (delivering classes via presentations, using e-learning systems, reports).#J-18808-Ljbffr
