Assistant Principals (Secondary) – Aug 2026 – Sharjah, UAEAssistant Principals required for leading international schools on the East Coast of Sharjah, UAE.Assistant Principals – Secondary SchoolsLocation: Sharjah, UAERegion: Middle EastStart Date: August 2026Curriculum: Australian (Victoria) / IBLength of Contract: 2 years (renewable)This school group is seeking experienced and committed Assistant Principals to join the Senior Leadership Teams and support the strategic leadership across various school campuses in Sharjah, UAE, particularly at campuses on the East Coast.These roles offer an exciting opportunity to contribute to whole-school improvement, lead curriculum and/or wellbeing portfolios, and work closely with the Campus Principal and Group leadership to ensure high-quality educational outcomes for all students.This is a leading international education provider in the UAE, educating students from over 80 nationalities. An Australian school group offering the Australian (Victorian) curriculum to 4000+ students, this is the largest provider of the Victorian F-10 curriculum outside Australia.The LocationSharjah is the cultural capital of the UAE, and these school sites are located on the east coast of this stunning emirate, in cities primed for rapid development. School staff often live in the nearby emirate of Fujairah, meaning you can enjoy coastal living only a short distance from the campuses. On the East Coast of the UAE, rugged mountains meet serene beaches, and mangrove forests thrive amidst the desert landscape. People who live in this area benefit from the active lifestyle that the environment encourages, but the excitement of Dubai is only just over an hour away.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to school leadership, policy development, and decision-making as a member of the Campus SLTLead curriculum and/or wellbeing initiatives aligned with the school’s strategic prioritiesSupport the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive education program in line with Group policiesPromote a safe, equitable, and supportive learning environment with a strong focus on student well-beingSupport staff performance, professional learning, and developmentAssist with staff recruitment in collaboration with the Head of School and Group Central OfficeMaintain positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community, demonstrating cultural sensitivitySupport compliance with UAE educational and operational requirements, including MOE and SPEAAssist with the effective use of school resources, facilities, and servicesRequirementsRecognised teaching qualification and current registration (e.g., VIT, QTS) preferredRegional Experience is an advantage (Middle East)Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a senior or middle leadership role within a school (e.g., Assistant Principal, Head of Department, Year Level Leader)Experience with the Australian Curriculum is advantageous but not essentialStrong understanding of curriculum, teaching and learning, and/or student wellbeing frameworksProven leadership, communication, and people-management skillsA collaborative, solution-focused approach to school improvementCommitment to student well-being, professional growth, and educational excellenceCompetitive employment package including tax‑free salaryHousing options – furnished apartment or allowance (financial contribution)Annual flight allowance (employee, spouse, and up to two children)Health insurance (employee, spouse and up to two children)Discounted tuition feesOngoing professional development and leadership growth opportunitiesEnd of service gratuities2 year contract with renewal optionsAbout ANZUK EducationANZUK Education has supported educators since 2004.
