Assistant Operations Manager

The Head of Operations is responsible for the day-to-day management, strategic planning, and service excellence. This includes leading clinical and administrative teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing resource use, and driving innovations in care delivery. The ideal candidate brings a clinical background and a strong track record in healthcare operations.ResponsibilitiesContribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management teamRisk management and implementation of Quality Management ProgramLiaise with corporate managers to address legal, contractual, and purchasing issues and requirementsDemonstrates appropriate delegation and coordination of tasks and duties in the operations of the clinic using appropriate organizational/priority setting skillsEstablishes a system of communication to coordinate activities/functionsTrack performance of clinical and non-clinical employeesDevelops the leadership skills of staff through delegation of responsibilityEmpowers staff to achieve their best professionally and guides them through creative problem solvingAssisting in preparation of monthly MIS reportsManage all functions within the facilityIncrease the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services through improvements to each function (HR, IT, Finance) as well as coordination and communication between functionsDrive initiatives in the management team and organization that contribute to long-term operational excellenceProviding consulting services on matters related to business development, insurance questions, and business structure and growthEnsuring that the work of the department is effectively coordinated with other departments/sections in a timely manner and is aligned to the overall facility goalsEngages in health promotion activities in the healthcare organization and communityProvides a suitable environment that supports patient and family learningFacilitates and promotes education and effective communication between the patient, family, interdepartmental and the interdisciplinary healthcare team as requiredSupport quality education, orientation program, and participates in career developmentResponsible for compliance with Department of Health (DOH) and Insurance regulationsAccountabilitiesDeliver on operational budget and cost-saving targetsMaximize resource utilization and scheduling efficiencyIncrease revenue through reduction in cancellations and improved patient throughputManage vendor and service contractsSupport timely and accurate financial reportingAchieve 100% regulatory and accreditation complianceMaintain >90% patient satisfactionEnsure operational readiness for audits and inspectionsImprove staff retention and engagementStandardize processes through SOP implementation across all departmentsQualificationsBachelors degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Relations, or relevant fieldAdditional InformationExperience:5 to 10 years of management experience with a healthcare facility and proven experience in operations managementSkills & AbilitiesStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesEffective communication and interpersonal skillsRisk management and problem-solving capabilitiesKnowledge of insurance processes and claim managementAbility to work cross-functionally across clinical and administrative teamsStrategic planning and business development mindsetStrong understanding of healthcare operations and compliance (especially DOH regulations)Financial planning and budgeting skillsProficiency in performance tracking and quality improvementRemote Work: NoEmployment Type: Full-time#J-18808-Ljbffr
