Job Description
Adheres to legal and ethical guidelines set by American Hospital Dubai and the Dubai Health Authority, participates in quality improvement initiatives, and commits to ongoing professional development. Supports procedures, infection control, and patient safety practices, and maintains unit cleanliness.ResponsibilitiesProvides patient-centred nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse within the Ortho / Sports Medicine Clinic.Assists with assessing, intervening, and evaluating patient health and functional status.Supports patients with activities of daily living to promote independence.Monitors and reports changes in the health and functional status of patients to the Registered Nurse.Maintains ongoing communication with the healthcare team regarding patient care.Provides relevant healthcare information and support to patients and their families.Practices within the legal and ethical framework established by the American Hospital Dubai and Dubai Health Authority.Maintains accountability for personal nursing actions and decisions.Participates in the development and maintenance of a safe and effective practice environment.Engages in ongoing professional development and education.Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.Collaborates with the healthcare team to promote a culture of safety and quality care.Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, and mobility.Removes peripheral Intravenous lines as instructed by the registered nurse.Provides support and comfort to patients and their families.Monitors and reports changes in patient's health and functional status to the Registered Nurse.Monitors and documents accurate intake/output for patients.Measures and records vital signs such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration.Monitors pain levels and reports findings to the healthcare team.Assists with routine procedures such as blood draws.Follows American Hospital Dubai and Dubai Health Authority precautions and infection control protocols.Ensures proper disposal of contaminated waste and cleaning of equipment.Documents care provided and reports any changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse.Maintains confidentiality of patient information.Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of the unit.Ensures patient safety through the use of proper identification practices.Assists in controlling and directing visitors and supporting patients' families when required.QualificationsDiploma of Nursing not less than eighteen (18) months course durationCurrent/Valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) LicenseBasic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificationJob InfoJob Identification 4254Job Category NursingPosting Date 03/09/2026, 04:54 AMDegree Level Vocational CertificateJob Schedule Full timeLocations Mira Community, Dubai, 00000, AE#J-18808-Ljbffr
