Job Description You will be working as a Data Analyst specializing in social media video analytics for Jiostar India Private Limited, a leading entertainment conglomerate. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing robust data collection methodologies for YouTube and Facebook video content. - Extracting, cleaning, and preprocessing video/asset level data to ensure accuracy and reliability. - Performing in-depth analysis of video performance metrics, including views, engagement, reach, and audience demographics. - Identifying trends, patterns, and correlations within the data to provide actionable insights. - Conducting A/B testing and cohort analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of different content strategies. - Creating visually compelling dashboards and reports to communicate key findings and insights to stakeholders. - Developing automated reporting systems to streamline the dissemination of analytics reports. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision-making across the organization. - Monitoring the performance of YouTube and Facebook video content in real-time viz-a-viz JioHotstar analytics. - Identifying opportunities for optimization and recommending strategies to enhance engagement and viewership. - Tracking KPIs and metrics to measure the impact of content initiatives and marketing campaigns. - Conducting benchmarking studies to compare Jiostar's social media video performance against industry peers. - Analyzing competitor strategies and market trends to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation. - Ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices in data governance. - Implementing data quality checks and validation procedures to maintain data integrity and security. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Media, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. - 3+ Years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the media or entertainment industry. - Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly YouTube and Facebook, and their analytics tools [YouTube Analytics, YouTube CMS Analytics & Meta Business Suite]. - Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio is optional. - Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages for data manipulation and analysis will be a good plus. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders. - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with multiple teams.
