As we continue to grow, we are looking to strengthen our Internal Audit function with professionals who are curious, detail-oriented, and committed to doing things the right way.</p><h3>About the role</h3><p>The<b>Assistant Manager Internal Audit</b>will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on internal audit engagements, evaluating controls, assessing risks, and supporting governance initiatives.</p><h3>Job Responsibilities</h3><p>Key responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Planning and executing<b>internal audits</b>and control review engagements across the company and its affiliates</li><li>Performing<b>risk assessments</b>and identifying operational and fraud risks</li><li>Evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of controls and recommending process improvements</li><li>Preparing<b>flowcharts, risk&control matrices, audit programs, and reports</b></li><li>Working with process owners to address control gaps and implement recommendations</li><li>Supporting development of<b>control self-assessment and self-auditing frameworks</b></li><li>Tracking operational risk incidents and performing root cause analysis</li><li>Participating in business transformation initiatives, performance reviews, and due diligence projects</li><li>Conducting audits in<b>ERP and IT-enabled environments</b>, including IT process audits</li><li>Ensuring compliance with<b>IIA Standards, the International Professional Practices Framework, and internal audit best practices</b></li><li>Maintaining effective working relationships with business stakeholders and management</li><li>Performing any other related audit or control review assignments within prescribed timelines</li></ul><h3>Qualifications&Experience</h3><h3>Education</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in<b>Accounting, Finance, Commerce</b>, or a related field</li></ul><h3>Professional Certifications (Preferred)</h3><ul><li><b>CIA / CA / CPA / ACCA</b></li><li><b>CISA</b>or IT-related certifications are an advantage</li></ul><h3>Experience</h3><ul><li><b>4–5 years</b>of experience in internal audit, external audit, or internal controls</li><li>Experience in<b>Real Estate, Healthcare, Retail, Distribution, or Food&Beverage</b>preferred</li><li>Exposure to<b>Big 4 firm experience</b>is an advantage</li><li>Strong understanding of<b>COSO Internal Control Framework</b>and IIA Standards</li><li>Experience in<b>ERP environments</b>and ERP implementation projects preferred</li><li>Knowledge of IT audits and technology-enabled processes is a plus</li></ul><h3>Skills&Competencies</h3><ul><li><b>Fluent in English and Arabic</b></li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills</li><li>Excellent report writing and presentation skills</li><li>Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities</li><li>Professional integrity, sound judgment, and strong work ethic</li><li>Strong collaboration skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams</li><li>Proficient in MS Office</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
