Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Manager, Costing Job Description Cost Accounting Routine Examination and Analysis of Management Accounting System. Review, analyse & implement cost accounting policies and costing standards for raw & Packaging materials, Semi Finished, Spare parts and material, WIP and finished goods. Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost. Provide internal / External auditor requirements. Maintain the Bill of Material in the system including the approval of any changes. Analyzing near expiry/slow moving stock & book provision as per policy. Support in fixed asset count of the company. Manage the closing processes across all plants, ensure ledgers are closed in a timely manner, with accuracy, and in compliance with IFRS. Manage annual physical inventory process across manufacturing sites. Ensure controllership and consistency of accounting process across the operations, drive controllership awareness and processes through operations teams, and ensure finance compliance. Financial Budget Support in the Development of the product cost for budget & forecast and the uploading the system. Manage the preparation and consolidation of the annual budget for Plants. Review with plant team budgeted cost saving projects Analyze / Finalize submitted material price from value buying. Reporting Monthly share overhead & capital spending detail with Business unit head. Prepare monthly material utilization variances & Purchase price variances to make root cause analysis & take corrective action. Monthly finalize & share production volume of the plant. Prepare and share DIOH report with plant and value buying team. Cost Control Lead tracking, review, and accurate timely submission of monthly Capex monitor to Plants heads. Control Trade Support functions spending and provides regular detailed reporting on plants direct cost of all SF Plants. Review the monthly Spending of non-organization costs such as (travel, welfare, conferences etc). Ability to analyze cost-saving projects & new product costing with the production team. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent. Proven experience in finance management. Fluent in English and Arabic.
