Assistant Manager - Audit

Position: Auditor Internal AuditExperience: 35 YearsLocation: Dubai UAEReporting to: AGM Internal AuditKey Responsibilities:Execute internal audits in line with the annual audit plan.Conduct process walkthroughs and interviews with auditees to understand workflows identify risks and evaluate control effectiveness.Perform audit procedures to assess compliance with company policies procedures applicable laws and regulations.Audit areas including but not limited to:Project Costing and schedule adherenceSubcontractor managementProcurement processPlant and Machinery operationsInventory managementHuman Resource OperationsLabour Camps administration and welfarePublic Relations OperationsIdentifying opportunities for process improvement including automation and system enhancements.Conducting ad-hoc review/investigation as per the request of managementDraft clear and concise audit observations and recommendations.Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.Assist in risk assessments and contribute to continuous improvements in audit methodologies.Maintain proper documentation of working papers and audit evidence.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Commerce or related field.Professional certification: CA from ICAI (mandatory)Additional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) is an advantage.Skills and Competencies:Strong analytical and investigative skills.Proficiency in MS Excel Word and PowerPoint.Experience in working with ERP systems (preferably SAP).Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.Time management and ability to manage multiple audits simultaneously.Preferred Experience:Hands-on audit experience in construction or real estate industry.Exposure to audit analytics tools (e.g. Caseware IDEA)Familiarity with UAE labor laws and local compliance requirements.Required Experience:Manager Key Skills Administrative Skills,Time Management,Internal Audit,Accounting And Auditing,Leadership skills,Organizational Skill,Accounting & Finance,Business Process Skill,Communication,External Audit,Relationship Management,Strategic Thinking Skills,Team Player Spirit,Budgeting Skills,Problem Solving Skills Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
