Assistant Inventory Controller

Exciting Opportunity: Assistant Inventory ControllerJoin Ali & Sons and contribute to a high-performing Parts & Supply Chain team within our Motors Division. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Inventory Controller to support inventory optimization, stock accuracy, and efficient ordering processes.Role PurposeTo support the Inventory Controller in maintaining optimum spare parts stock levels, ensuring high stock turnover, and enabling smooth supply chain operations across PDC and branch locations.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in maintaining efficient spare parts stock levels at PDC and branch locations.Prepare Sea, Air, and Daily orders using DMS and SOQ calculation sheets; follow up until shipment receipt.Place Daily/VOR orders based on workshop and customer requirements.Update and maintain accurate Parts Master Data in DMS (supersession, campaigns, abnormal demand, accessories, tools, etc.).Monitor back orders and update Parts Advisors on order status.Control and coordinate parts transfers between branches.Assist warehouse staff with perpetual inventory activities.Coordinate with freight forwarders for incoming/outgoing shipments and documentation.Follow up on GRNs and ensure documentation is submitted to Accounts on time.Process supplier discrepancy claims and follow up for credit notes.Coordinate insurance claims for transit-damaged stock.Analyze stock aging reports and support corrective actions with Parts Manager.Reconcile principal account statements and coordinate payments with Accounts.Support development of effective ordering strategies for cost control and optimal order mix.Update the National Parts Manager on Purchases vs. Targets performance.Perform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications & RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree or 3-year Diploma in Material Management or related field.Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar inventory/parts control role.Languages: Fluency in English required; Arabic preferred.Computer Skills: Strong computer literacy; experience with DMS and inventory systems is an advantage.Why Join Ali & Sons?Established and reputable automotive group in the UAEProfessional and growth-focused work environmentExposure to global automotive parts operationsCulture centered on accuracy, accountability, and teamworkReady to take your inventory management career to the next level?Apply now and become part of the Motors Division at Ali & Sons.#J-18808-Ljbffr
