As the<b>Assistant In-Room Dining Manager</b>, you'll play a key role in managing and elevating our In-Room Dining operations—ensuring personalized service, premium standards, and seamless guest experiences day and night.</p><p>You'll work closely with the In-Room Dining Manager and the wider F&B team to drive service excellence, optimize operations, and uphold the standards that define our IHG brand.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Oversee daily operations of In-Room Dining, ensuring all guest orders are delivered accurately, promptly, and with exceptional presentation.</li><li>Lead, train, and support a team of in-room dining servers, order-takers, and attendants—ensuring consistency in service and adherence to brand standards.</li><li>Maintain operational standards in line with IHG guidelines including hygiene, food safety, grooming, and guest service expectations.</li><li>Coordinate with culinary and stewarding teams to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.</li><li>Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, efficiently resolving any service issues with empathy and urgency.</li><li>Monitor and manage stock levels, equipment, and supplies to ensure operational readiness at all times.</li><li>Assist in scheduling, labor management, and cost control to support budget targets.</li><li>Support the In-Room Dining Manager in menu planning, promotions, and service innovations that enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.</li><li>Foster a culture of continuous improvement, team collaboration, and guest-focused service.</li></ul><h3>What we need from you</h3><ul><li>At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in In-Room Dining or F&B within a 4- or 5-star hotel.</li><li>Strong leadership and communication skills.</li><li>Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest service.</li><li>Knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards.</li><li>Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.</li><li>Experience with POS systems and basic Microsoft Office applications.</li></ul><h3>What we offer</h3><p>We’ll reward all your hard work with a competitive salary and benefits – including<b>hotel discounts worldwide</b>,<b>duty meals</b>,<b>laundry</b>, and<b>career development opportunities</b>within the IHG family.
