Job DescriptionAbout Wynn Al Marjan IslandOn schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in spring 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five‑star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.About The PositionWynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking an Assistant Gaming Manager to join the resort’s Table Games Operations team.ResponsibilitiesThe primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:People Management and TrainingSupport the Gaming Manager in achieving game integrity and service excellence goalsAssist in developing departmental training programs and updating operating proceduresSupervise and guide Gaming Team Members to ensure secure, accurate, and guest‑focused table game operationsMonitor team performance and provide feedback and coaching as neededConduct daily briefings and communicate operational updates to the teamParticipate in hiring, onboarding, and training of Gaming Team MembersMotivate, counsel, and evaluate team members, encouraging engagement and accountabilityAssist in managing rosters, breaks, and labor allocation to meet business demandMaintain accurate records of attendance, overtime, and leave requestsPromote teamwork, fairness, and career development within the departmentIdentify procedural deviations and implement corrective training measuresSupport refresher training to maintain service quality and compliance standardsFoster a positive work environment where team members feel valued and supportedMonitor grooming and conduct to ensure alignment with company standardsMaintain open and effective communication across all levels of the teamDaily OperationsAssist in managing daily operations of the Main Floor Table Games areaEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and government regulationsMaintain the integrity of games, equipment, and playing cardsSupport table opening decisions and labor allocation based on guest volumeEnsure Gaming Team Members adhere to operational and regulatory standardsRespond to guest inquiries, disputes, and complaints professionally and promptlyEscalate unresolved issues and suspicious activities to the Gaming ManagerCoordinate with other departments to enhance guest experience and operational efficiencyMonitor table game equipment and report maintenance needsEnsure accurate handling of the Card Track System (CTS) in coordination with the Card RoomAssist in maintaining secure inventory of playing cards and dicePrepare operational reports and updates for the Gaming ManagerSupport special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Gaming ManagerCompany And Department ResponsibilitiesReport daily progress to the Director of Table GamesMonitor industry, market trends, and recommend adjustments to work practices, services, and team member wage levelsInteract professionally and positively with department and company team members, management, and contractorsAttend department and inter‑department meetings and share relevant informationEncourage good relationships, promote team spirit, and ensure effective two‑way and multicultural communicationAdherent to company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of ConductRemain well‑mannered and well‑groomed as per department and company standardsFollow health and safety standards and strive for continuous improvement to avoid hazardsParticipate in the company’s sustainability and recycling initiativesAbout YouThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:Minimum of 3 years’ experience in table games or gaming operationsSupervisory experience and familiarity with Card Track System (CTS) are an advantageProficient in MS Office and gaming operations systemsStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsReliable, confident, and professional demeanorHigh attention to detail and strong observational skillsTeam‑oriented and adaptable in a fast‑paced environmentAble to adapt to varying work schedules in a 24‑hour operational setting, including weekends, holidays, and shift workAble to work in a smoking environmentAbout Wynn Al Marjan Island’s BenefitsWe offer an attractive salary, paid in Dirhams (AED), the local currency of the UAE.
