The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, conducting high‑quality research and scholarly activities in the field, and actively contributing to college and university administrative and service responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesTeach undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting and related disciplines.Develop and sustain a productive research agenda that leads to publications in high‑quality, peer‑reviewed journals, with the potential to contribute to interdisciplinary and practice‑oriented research in accounting.Supervise student projects, internships, and theses, as applicable.Contribute to curriculum development and continuous program enhancement, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards, evolving industry practices, and the integration of digital tools used in accounting.Actively participate in departmental, college, and university committees and academic initiatives that support institutional goals.Engage in continuous professional development by participating in training programs, workshops, and academic conferences to enhance teaching and research effectiveness.Engage with the business and professional community, fostering industry collaboration and supporting the university's outreach, innovation, and impact initiatives.Minimum Educational QualificationsA Ph.D. in Accounting or a closely related field from an internationally recognized university, preferably accredited by AACSB, EQUIS, or listed in the top 200 global rankings.Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a strong commitment to high‑quality research.A proven record of curriculum development and innovative teaching practices in accounting.An established portfolio of scholarly research, with publications in reputable, peer‑reviewed journals.Experience in industry practice, consultancy, or professional service is highly desirable.Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA.Industry experience in accounting, auditing, or financial reporting.Minimum Years of ExperienceAt least two years of teaching experience in accredited higher education institutions.Nature of Relevant ExperienceAbility to integrate industry insights and emerging trends into curriculum design and classroom instruction.Capacity to contribute to departmental service, program development, and institutional initiatives.Language SkillsProfessional proficiency in English (oral and written).Arabic is preferred.Application ProcedureA cover letter outlining qualifications, teaching philosophy, research agenda, and preferred academic rank (Assistant or Associate Professor).A detailed curriculum vitae (CV), including a full list of publications with Scopus rankings if applicable.A statement of research interests and future research plans.A statement of teaching philosophy along with evidence of teaching effectiveness (e.g., teaching evaluations, sample syllabi).Contact information for three academic referees.Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the positions are filled.
