Assistant Accountant

Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support the finance function of our manufacturing and trading operations in the UAE. The role involves day-to-day accounting activities, inventory accounting support, VAT compliance assistance, and coordination with internal teams under the supervision of the Senior Accountant.Key ResponsibilitiesRecord and post accounting entries for purchases, sales, expenses, and journalsMaintain accounts payable and receivable recordsAssist in inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and production-related entriesSupport preparation of monthly financial reports and schedulesAssist in UAE VAT compliance, including VAT returns, reconciliations, and documentationPerform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliationsMaintain proper filing of accounting records and supporting documentsCoordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams for accurate financial reportingSupport internal and external audits as requiredPerform other accounting tasks assigned by the Senior AccountantWhat We OfferStable role in a growing manufacturing environmentLearning and career development opportunitiesProfessional work cultureRequirements & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field2–4 years of relevant accounting experience (manufacturing experience preferred)Good understanding of UAE VAT regulationsExperience with accounting software (Zoho Books, QuickBooks, ERP systems preferred)Strong knowledge of MS ExcelAttention to detail with good analytical and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesGood communication skillsPreferred AttributesExperience in inventory and cost accountingFamiliarity with production and BOM-related accountingKnowledge of Chinese Language is an advantage#J-18808-Ljbffr
