Job Description As an Asset & License Management Analyst at AkzoNobel, your role involves reviewing, managing, and auditing SAP and Microsoft product licenses to ensure compliance and optimal utilization within the organization. Your responsibilities include:
- Developing, implementing, and continuously driving optimizations in the License, Asset & configuration management process.
- Driving the professionalization and optimization of License & Asset management.
- Planning, monitoring, and recording software license assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts.
- Working with information available from the ITSM platform (ServiceNow).
- Developing and implementing procedures for tracking company assets to oversee quality control & compliance throughout their lifecycles.
- Reporting out to relevant stakeholders on the license position per software product across the globe.
- Supporting IT Projects & Programs in identifying License & Asset requirements and procurement activities.
- Managing and organizing periodical license audits conducted by software suppliers/vendors.
- Building trusted relationships with colleagues from IT, Finance, Procurement, HR & Legal.
- Supporting Contract & Vendor Managers in managing global license/asset and vendor relations.
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Master/ bachelor's degree in business management, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in a complex international environment.
- Demonstrated capability in implementing Software Asset Management frameworks and related software tooling.
- Demonstrated capability in managing software licenses and assets particularly SAP & Microsoft products.
- Advanced excel skills.
- Experience with IT/License audits.
