Assembly Workshop Manager

The Assembly Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire assembly shop, including managing production schedules, ensuring quality standards, optimizing efficiency, and leading the assembly team. This role requires a strategic approach to managing resources, improving processes, and meeting production targets while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. The Assembly Shop Manager reports directly to the Manufacturing Director and works closely with other departments to support overall production goals.ResponsibilitiesLeading end-to-end production operations across assembly, system integration, functional testing, and final packaging within high-tech electronics manufacturing environments.Experienced in building structured production plans, driving on-time delivery, and optimizing resource utilization to meet aggressive operational targets. Strong focus on quality control, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement to ensure reliability and customer satisfaction.Skilled in identifying process bottlenecks, improving throughput, reducing waste, and implementing lean manufacturing practices across the full production cycle — from assembly to final dispatch.Proven leader in developing high-performing teams, strengthening cross-functional collaboration (Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain), and maintaining strict safety and compliance standards.Committed to operational excellence, innovation, and scalable manufacturing growth.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.Relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, IPC certification) are advantageous.Professional ExperienceMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in assembly shop management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Extensive experience in the microelectronics or electronics manufacturing industry.Proven track record of managing assembly operations and achieving efficiency improvements.#J-18808-Ljbffr
