Job Description

Job DescriptionTo manage and execute the preparation of high-quality Asian cuisine in a professional kitchen environment, ensuring consistency, hygiene, and operational efficiency in line with company standards.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook a variety of Asian dishes, including Chinese, Thai, Indian, or Pan-Asian cuisine, in line with standardized recipes.Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.Supervise and guide commis chefs and kitchen assistants within the section.Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety at all times.Assist in menu planning and development of Asian dishes.Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the store team for requisitions.Minimize food wastage and control costs within the section.Ensure proper storage and handling of all food items.Support smooth kitchen operations during peak service hours.Comply with company policies, HACCP, and QHSE standards.RequirementsPreferred Nationality: AsianProven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef in Asian cuisine.Background in restaurant or catering operations is mandatory.Good knowledge of Asian cooking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.Strong leadership and team management skills.Good communication skills.Basic understanding of food safety standards, including HACCP.Preferred QualificationsCulinary diploma or relevant certification.Experience in multi‑cuisine or large‑scale catering operations.Exposure to international kitchen standards.Key CompetenciesAttention to DetailTime ManagementTeamwork and LeadershipAdaptability Under PressureQuality and Hygiene Focus#J-18808-Ljbffr
