Job Description As a Sales and Channel Management Specialist, your role will involve the following responsibilities:
- Achieving sales and profitability objectives by:
- Meeting top-line and bottom-line targets in the assigned territory
- Driving business growth through the existing Weighted Distribution (WD) network
- Enhancing the efficiency of Retail operations and optimizing price realization
- Focusing on team development to ensure a motivated and skilled workforce
- Measuring addressability and extraction through:
- Mapping the territory for growth opportunities and extracting market share
- Gathering market intelligence on competition strategies, consumer behavior, and providing feedback to the Marketing team
- Managing Working Capital effectively by:
- Handling working capital components such as fresh, ageing, damaged stocks, and outstanding payments
- Channel Management responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and evaluating the performance of Distributors, Dealers, and Retailers to develop actionable plans
- Strengthening relationships with channel partners for mutual growth
- Coordinating with the Commercial and Service teams to provide necessary support to the retail and distribution channels
- Ensuring the Depth and Width of distribution for planned market share by:
- Planning and executing promotional activities at the local level to boost distribution and retail channel performance
- Increasing product and brand visibility, especially in Multi Brand Outlets (MBOs) to enhance brand recall among consumers in the territory
- Prioritizing Customer Experience through:
- Managing Merchandising/Visual Merchandising in all Retail Stores to maintain stock freshness within norms
Additionally, you will be expected to uphold Organizational Imperatives by:
- Adhering to safety protocols, Integrated Management System (IMS) standards, compliance requirements
