JOB TITLEArea Manager | MAF Retail | Head Office UAEROLE SUMMARYThe Area Manager is responsible for the overall performance of certain number of stores within their assigned region. The role focuses on operational excellence, sales growth, cost control, team development, and consistent execution of company standards. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the hard discount model through rigorous discipline, simplicity in execution, and a relentless focus on efficiency.ROLE PROFILELead store renovations, openings, and closures in coordination with the Business Development teamMonitor product quality, freshness, pricing, and availability, and conduct regular spot checks to ensure complianceConduct commercial reviews with Store Managers or Store-In-Charge and implement corrective actions where necessaryEnsure the implementation of MAF Discount Retail plans and SOPs in alignment with company strategies and proceduresOversee all cash-related activities to ensure integrity and accuracyEnsure all stores in the region meet or exceed their sales targetsEnsure timely resolution of customer complaints in collaboration with Customer Care and other relevant departmentsEnforce adherence to standard layout norms, planograms and proper product displaysREQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree is Business or related field5+ years in a Retail Business and 1-4 years of experience as a Area Manager is a mustFluency in English is a mustStrong people skills and leadership skillsWHAT WE OFFERAt Majid Al Futtaim, we’re on a mission to create great moments, to spread happiness, to build experiences that stay in our memories for a lifetime.
