Archival Services Consultant

<div><ul><li>Providing specialized advisory support on archival services offered to the public and researchers, including access services, reference inquiries, and consultation of paper and digital materials, to enhance user experience and achieve service excellence.</li><li>Providing specialized advice on evaluating the content and quality of archival materials (paper, audio, visual, and digital) preserved in the Central Archives and their contribution to supporting the library’s research and cultural objectives.</li><li>Providing specialized advisory support related to technical archival services such as indexing, classification, descriptive metadata, and digitization, ensuring alignment with local and international standards.</li><li>Providing specialized advice on thematic areas and qualitative content of archival materials and recommending the feasibility and importance of making them accessible, while ensuring compliance with legal policies and privacy and transparency requirements.</li><li>Providing specialized support to align developmental programs and plans for archival services (such as inventory, preservation, access, restoration, and digitization) with the Library’s strategy and future directions.</li><li>Performing any other tasks or authorities related to the nature of archival work as assigned by the direct supervisor.</li></ul><h3>Required Qualifications and Experience</h3><h3>Educational Qualification</h3><p>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Archival Science, Knowledge Management, Library and Information Science, Archival Studies, Public Administration, or a related field.</p><h3>Years of Experience</h3><ul><li><b>Bachelor’s degree</b>+ 11 years of experience</li><li><b>Master’s degree</b>+ 9 years of experience in a similar field</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
