Architectural Engineer – Technical Office (Site-Based)

Job SummaryThe Architectural Engineer – Technical Office is responsible for leading all architectural technical activities at site, ensuring compliance with contract documents, project specifications, UAE authority regulations, and BIM standards. The role involves full coordination between design, site execution, consultants, subcontractors, and government authorities from project initiation through handover.Key Responsibilities1. Technical Leadership & BIM CoordinationLead preparation, review, and coordination of architectural shop drawings.Work directly with BIM models to extract drawings, quantities, and details.Review and coordinate BIM models with structural and MEP disciplines.Detect and resolve clashes using BIM coordination tools.Ensure alignment between BIM model, IFC drawings, and site execution.Review subcontractors’ shop drawings and BIM submissions before consultant approval.Ensure compliance with UAE building codes and regulations.2. Material Submittals & Technical ApprovalsReview and approve material submittals prior to consultant submission.Ensure compliance with project specifications and authority requirements.Prepare technical comparison sheets for alternative materials.SkillsRequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Architectural EngineeringMinimum 10 years of total experience, including at least 5 years in the UAE within construction companies / technical office.Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations and approval processes.Extensive experience in finishing works and architectural detailing.BIM model knowledge is mandatory.Technical SkillsAdvanced proficiency in AutoCAD.Strong working knowledge of Revit and BIM coordination tools (mandatory).Experience in Navisworks.Proficient in Microsoft Office.#J-18808-Ljbffr
