<div><p>Location</p><p>Riyadh</p><p>Department/Section</p><p>Anesthesia Technology Section</p><h3>Summary</h3><p>Prepares, assembles, and calibrates anaesthesia equipment and assists the Anaesthesiologist in daily duties</p><h3>Essential Responsibilities and Duties</h3><ul><li>Prepares, sets up, and checks all anaesthesia-related equipment, including anaesthesia machines, physiological monitors, transducers, TEE, and paediatric and adult carts.</li><li>Prepares, labels, and administers anaesthesia-related medications under the direct supervision of the anaesthesiologist and as prescribed.</li><li>Assists in the preparation and execution of anaesthesia procedures, including general, regional, and local anaesthesia, invasive and non‑invasive monitoring, chemotherapy, blood transfusion, and organ transplantation as required.</li><li>Ensures the availability and readiness of all required drugs, infusion fluids, supplies, and anesthesia equipment before and during surgical procedures.</li><li>Documents anaesthesia-related data accurately in the anaesthesia chart under the supervision of the anaesthesiologist, following completion of required training and competency assessment.</li><li>Assists the Anaesthesiologist during anaesthesia induction, including manual ventilation and intubation, as required and under supervision.</li><li>Supports the Anaesthesiologist during emergency situations, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation, trauma cases, and activation of the major disaster plan.</li><li>Verifies blood and blood products with the anaesthesiologist and administers them under supervision in accordance with established policies and procedures.</li><li>Collects, inspects, cleans, and prepares anaesthesia equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.</li><li>Maintains anaesthesia equipment and reports any malfunction or safety concerns promptly to ensure uninterrupted clinical operations.</li><li>Adheres to infection control, patient safety, and quality standards while handling anaesthesia equipment and supplies.</li><li>Performs additional anaesthesia-related duties as assigned to support safe and effective patient care.</li><li>Follows all Hospital’s related policies and procedures.</li><li>Participates in self and others’ research, education, training, and development, as applicable.</li><li>Performs other related duties, as required.</li></ul><h3>Education</h3><p>Bachelor’s or Associate Degree / Diploma in Anaesthesia is required.</p><h3>Experience Required</h3><p><b>Grade 08:</b></p><p>Two (2) years of related experience with Bachelor’s or four (4) years with Associate Degree/Diploma is required.</p><p><b>Grade 09:</b></p><p>Four (4) years as Anaesthesia Technologist at KFSHRC, or (Grade 08) related experience is required.</p><p>Average of annual performance appraisal at least (3.5) for the last four (4) years.</p><p>Fifty (50) hours of cumulative continued medical education [CME].</p><h3>Other Requirements (Certificates)</h3><p>Current Registration from country of origin and Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) is required.</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
