Analyst- Financial Planning & Analysis

The aim of this role is to provide analytical support for the Financial Planning and Analysis Function, contributing to budgeting, forecasting and financial performance monitoring across the organisation.The role will support the consolidation of financial data, contribute to financial modelling and analysis, and assist in improving financial planning processes and reporting tools used within the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare financial reports for management, including monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reportingSupport the consolidation of annual budgets and periodic forecastsPerform financial analysis and provide insights on key performance indicators (KPIs), financial trends, and business drivers to support decision-makingPrepare materials and analysis for management and executive discussionsSupport the development of financial dashboards and performance tracking toolsAssist in the consolidation of financial data within planning tools (such as Anaplan) and ensure proper governance of planning systemsMaintain awareness of the industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in financial planningBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related fieldProfessional certification such as CPA or CFA is a plus.Proven experience (5+ years) in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the insurance industry or financial services sector.Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful insights.Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, financial planning software).Excellent communication and presentation skillsProactive mindset with a continuous improvement mindset and a drive for results.Knowledge of insurance industry dynamics and regulatory requirements is desirable.#J-18808-Ljbffr
