Analyst - Data Science

Job Description Role Overview: You will be joining United's Digital Technology team, a group of talented individuals dedicated to using cutting-edge technology to build the best airline in aviation history. Your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining technology solutions with innovative architectures, data analytics, and digital solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Execute solutions to business problems using data analysis, data mining, optimization tools, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques. - Continuously develop and demonstrate improved analysis methodologies. - Ensure alignment and prioritization with business objectives and initiatives to help make faster, smarter decisions. - Share internal best practices and foster collaboration with internal and external teams. - Create and develop presentations for United leadership and external stakeholders. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree required. - At least 2+ years of experience in analytics required. - Strong knowledge of either R or Python. - Proficient in using database querying tools and able to write complex queries and procedures using Teradata SQL and/or Microsoft TSQL. - Experience in manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high dimensionality data from various sources. - Familiarity with reporting tools such as Spotfire or Tableau. - Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis and algorithms clearly. - Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship. - Fluent in English and Hindi (written and spoken). - Successful completion of an interview required to meet job qualification. - Reliable, punctual attendance is essential for the position.
