Mediclinic City Hospital| Dubai | United Arab EmiratesMAIN PURPOSE OF JOBTo work as part of the theatre team in providing quality care to patients undergoing anaesthesia and to provide, skilled clinical and technical assistance to the anaesthetist.KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREASTo provide a high standard of care pre-, during and post-anaesthesia for patients following Hospital guidelines and Operation Theatre standards.To ensure that the operation theatre and supplies are prepared and that all anaesthetic equipment is cleaned, sterilised and disinfected pre-operative and post-operative.To ensure that anaesthetic stock, medication and equipment is controlled.To ensure that patient records and documentation are maintained.To actively promote patient satisfaction.REQUIRED EDUCATIONDiploma in Anaesthetic Technology from an accredited institution, college, or university.Licensed or eligible for licensure as Anaesthesia Technician according to the UAE requirements.Licensed in Country of origin.Current and valid ACLS certification.Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.REQUIRED EXPERIENCEAt least 2 years’ experience as an Anaesthesia Technician in a hospital environment.REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEComputer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applicationsStock control principles and managementAll applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given to the designated groups in accordance with the United Arab Emirates Emiratization Program.#J-18808-Ljbffr
