Job Description

Be open to new ideas and proactive in developing techniques to extend the life of costumes, shoes, headpieces, and accessories.Work EnvironmentPromote a positive work environment by ensuring open communication and maintaining tidy work areas. Respect and uphold the artistic integrity of the costume and uniform designs, wigs, accessories, and shoes.Daily OperationsFollow daily costume washing rotation and uniform distribution protocols, efficiently reporting issues or suggestions to the Team Leader or Assistant Manager. Assist performers during show calls, validations, and training sessions, including quick changes and dressing needs. Preset and reset performer costumes, headpieces, wigs, accessories, and shoes before, during, and after performances. Perform general maintenance and repairs on costumes and accessories.Technical ExpertiseHave experience and working knowledge in effective fitting techniques and efficient alterations. Possess a clear understanding and knowledge of a wide range of fabrics, including neoprene, stretch materials, vinyls, foam, Plast azote, foils, and thermoplastics. Demonstrate professional knowledge and experience in pattern cutting and manipulation, including documenting and record‑keeping of all pattern notes and modifications. Possess professional expertise in head wrapping, prototyping headpieces, accessories, and customizing footwear. Knowledge of electronics and metalwork is a key advantage. Be responsible for construction techniques and costume construction for costumes, accessories, millinery, and footwear as required.Coordination & DocumentationAttend daily shift meetings to focus on priorities and understand the day's show schedule. Maintain and update all wardrobe inventory records, costume plots, and relevant documentation. Help train and integrate new Wardrobe Ambassadors. Report changes in individual tracks to the Team Leader.Safety & ComplianceAdhere to and enforce safety policies, participating in scheduled health and safety training. Actively observe and maintain safety procedures within the park, backstage, and dressing rooms.Supportive DutiesAssist in integrating new costume items into the production and support promotional events or photo shoots.RequirementsEducationHigh school or technical diploma in a related field.Experience2-4 years of experience in a theatrical wardrobe or costuming role.SkillsStrong knowledge of costume care and maintenance. Proven ability to manage and coordinate tasks calmly and efficiently. Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull during shifts. Ability to lift up to 15kg. Fluent in English (written and spoken).
