Airport Civil Engineer

<div><p><b>Our esteemed organization is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced</b>Airport Civil Engineer to lead, review, and supervise the design and execution of civil and structural works, ensuring that all works comply with project specifications, safety standards, and international codes. The Civil Engineer acts as a key technical authority during the construction supervision stages.</p><h3>Position</h3><p>Civil Engineer</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><h3>1. Design&Technical Work</h3><ul><li>Prepare and review civil and structural design drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.</li><li>Review and verify designs for:</li><li>Structural elements (foundations, columns, beams, slabs, retaining walls, etc.).</li><li>Reinforcement detailing and shop drawings.</li><li>Check compliance of designs with project requirements, local authority standards, and international codes (ACI, AISC, BS, SBC, ASTM).</li><li>Perform structural analysis, load calculations, and quantity take-offs.</li><li>Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines to ensure design integration.</li><li>Review and approve contractors’ shop drawings and material submittals.</li></ul><h3>2. Site Supervision&Quality Control</h3><ul><li>Supervise civil and structural works at site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications.</li><li>Inspect site works related to excavation, foundation, concrete, steel structure, finishing, and infrastructure.</li><li>Monitor workmanship, materials, and progress to ensure quality and timely completion.</li><li>Issue site observations, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and follow up on corrective actions.</li><li>Attend site meetings and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and clients.</li></ul><h3>3. Support Project Management</h3><ul><li>Support the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and monitoring civil work activities.</li><li>Participate in technical meetings and review sessions with clients and contractors.</li><li>Prepare progress and technical reports related to civil and structural works.</li><li>Evaluate contractors’ claims and approve payments related to civil scope.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations on site.</li></ul><h3>4. Drawing&Software Skills</h3><p><b>Proficiency in civil and structural drawing and analysis software, including:</b></p><ul><li><b>AutoCAD Civil 3D</b>– for civil layout drawings, grading, roads, and infrastructure design.</li><li><b>Revit Structure</b>– for BIM modeling and multidisciplinary coordination.</li><li><b>STAAD Pro / ETABS / SAP2000</b>– for structural design and analysis.</li><li><b>SAFE</b>– for slab and foundation design.</li><li><b>CSI Columns / Prokon</b>– for reinforced concrete and steel design checks.</li><li><b>Microsoft Office Suite</b>– for technical reports and project documentation.</li><li>Familiar with international and local standards such as:</li><li><b>ACI, AISC, ASTM, BS, SBC, and ISO</b>codes.</li><li>Understanding of authority regulations in Saudi Arabia (Municipality, MOT, NWC, Civil Defense, etc.).</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.</li><li>PMP (Project Management Professional) is preferred.</li><li>Minimum 8 years of documented engineering experience, including Airports Project as Consultant in the Gulf region.</li><li>Strong skills in scheduling, risk evaluation, and contract management.</li><li>Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.</li><li>Fluent in English (both spoken and written).</li><li>Valid Saudi residency (Iqama) and driving license if is not Saudi.</li><li>Ready to join immediately.</li><li>Willing to attend a face‑to‑face interview at any location within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
